I have owned two pitbulls who were very good my last dog was a very sweet boy just like a big baby. My ex kept him for me because I could not keep him at my house. But pitbulls are very protective if you bother a owner and they feel the owner is being in danger they will attack sometimes and its not because people trained their dog to fight. So I agree with you and thank you for putting up this article.

I had a black male pitbull, we was bread to fight but I ended up buying him for his owner. I train him really well, he was stubun as hell, but he was the biggest baby ever. He was nice to my bfs 2 year old daughter, and nice to the kitten. We bread him and with out red nose blonde female pit who we had her and 4 generation of her, her father, her fathers father, and her fathers fathers moher. then sold him to an older couple who wanted a nice pit who was already traind. But I now have a 2 month old black male puppy. His just like his dad. We bread and sale pits and we never had a pit turn on us or act outta controle. Its really how you raise them.

It all really depends on the owner of the dog.. if you beat and mistreat your dog it will be mean, no matter what it is... i have a black pit and shes 5years old.. shes been passed down through freinds since she was born... shes always been the sweetest dog and still is... shes only had a problem with one person i know who she lived with and he use to beat her.. yeah she finally snap and bit his thumb nail off.. his fault. i did not feel bad for him.. NEVER BEAT YOUR DOG ITS NOT RIGHT. anyways yeah i been attacked by poodles, chiwawas, sheppards... none of these where my dogs.. ITS NOT THE PIT ITS THE OWNER..

@Carlos Alarcon, I think you may have misread the article. The list in the article are pitbull rumors/myths. As the article says:

"All of the above rumors/myths are completely absurd and untrue of a Pit bull."

I own a Pit Bull she is just over a year old now. I love her and she is the best dog I have ever owned. She is so wonderful with my children and my friends dogs. She never attacks anyone and her best friends are cats. She love to cuddle with anyone and anything.
