If you’re a pet lover living in the West Palm Beach, Miami, or Fort Lauderdale area then you’re in luck because this coming weekend is the start of the Florida Pet Expo 2011! One of our favorite events of the year here in southern California is America’s Family Pet Expo at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa, CA. After enjoying the OC Pet Expo for the past few years we decided we’d like to research and share with our readers all the other Pet Expo’s happening across the United States. Today we wanted to tell you a little bit about the South Florida Pet Expo.

Here are some more details on the South Florida Pet Expo 2011:
- Agility – Lucky Dog Sports Club will be doing an Agility for Fun demonstration.
- Pet Costume Contest – Show off your pet dressed in their best costume for the super popular Pet Costume Contest! Contest will consist of several categories
- Pet Talent Contest – Does your pet have an amazing talent? Here’s your chance to show it off! To enter, bring your pet to the main stage and be ready to dance, jump, sing, or whatever your specialty may be.
- Doxie Derby Races – Dachshund Racing, Weiner Dog Races, Doxie Derby Race, it doesn’t matter what you call it but its wildly entertaining to see these little ones attempt to race to the finish.
- Pet Fashion Show – All attention will be focused on the runway as supermodel hounds strut their stuff on the cawalk to present this season’s latest customized designs from Puttin On The Dog.
- Adoption Event - Whether you’re looking for a furry, feathered or reptile friend, you’ll find one here!
Now you may be wondering why we out here in Southern California are we talking about a Pet Expo on the other side of the nation. First of all, we love our local OC Pet Expo and wanted to share this and similar events with our readers at PuppyInTraining.com Second, after doing research on or 2010 blog statistics we found out that we reach much more than just sunny southern california. In fact, we had more than 15,500 visitors come to our site from Florida in 2010. We therefore thought, why not share next weeks South Florida Pet Expo with our Florida readers!
