Monday Mischief – Linus And Yuki’s Dog Bed

Linus here!  Daddy says he needs his Monday break so I’m taking over the blog today.  Besides Dad has been sick all weekend so he deserves a little break.

It was Mother’s Day weekend so we put together a short blog post and fixed up a nice mother’s day picture for mom from the dogs.  However we also had a chance to get into a little bit of mischief even though dad was feeling a little under the weather.

Our little buddy, Yuki spent the weekend with us.  We tried to play with her, but she’s a lot smaller than us and didn’t really like it when I pounced at her.

Here’s Yuki in her comfy little bed:

I really liked Yuki’s dog bed and she made it look so comfy I decided to steal her spot when she wasn’t looking :)

Yuki sure made that dog bed look comfortable, but I thought it was a little bit lumpy.  I hope she comes over again next weekend and brings a bigger bed for me, Stetson, and Apache to enjoy.

I hope everyone had a great Mother’s Day Weekend!

Linus, Stetson, and Apache write a guest post every Monday called “Monday Mischief“, where they talk about their mischief, antics, and adventures from the past weekend.

Hey Linus, Jet here. Hi Mr. Colby.

Mr. Colby, sorry you are under the weather. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Mom recommends chicken soup with ginger…yup, that’s right, a little fresh ginger added… of course, she likes ginger in a lot of stuff! Oh, Mr. Colby? She recommends chicken soup to every creature who’s sick!

Dude, no offense, but, you look a little like Clifford, The Big Red Dog in Yuki’s bed!!! I speak from experience of doing similar moves on the cats flat beds. (story for another day!)

      Hi Jet!

Dad says he’s feeling a little better now thanks for asking.

I like being called Clifford the Big Red Dog. Although most people refer to Apache as the BIG DOG in our house. I’m the little guy (well except this weekend…Yuki was the little guy). Thanks for stopping by!

      Take care,

hahaha..Linus is so funny! I wonder if he was comfortable…or if he just wanted to mess with Yuki.

    • says

@Allison, I think Linus just likes sitting on doggy beds and pillows it doesn’t matter how large they are. I don’t think he was all that comfortable.

    Hey Linus,

It’s good to hear from you buddy!! I had no idea you were a fellow Mischief Maker, good job!! Who cares if it was a lumpy, small bed – Mischief is Mischief, right?! Tee Hee

I hope your Dad is feeling better now, sending him some wags,

    Your pal Snoopy :)

      Hi Snoopy!

Yuki made it look so nice I had to give it a try. Dad says thanks and he is feeling better.

      Thanks for stopping by!

      Hi Jen,

Dad says he’s feeling better. Yuki was a good girl this weekend and it was very nice of her to share beds with Linus.

      Thanks for stopping by!

    Hi Linus,

Thank you for playing and taking care of me this weekend. I had a lot of fun and hope I wasn’t too much trouble for you, your brothers or your dad. Next time I come for a sleepover, I will be sure to bring something bigger for you to sleep on.

      Hi Irene,

Dad says that you were a good girl. We knew that when you growled it really meant you wanted to play :) We’ll see you next time your humans go on vacation!

    Hey Linus,

I’m sorry to break this to you, but you’re just too big buddy. The bed was meant for cute little Yuki. Now all your scent has rubbed on it. I do hope you smelled good while occupying Yuki’s bed.

    Huggies and Cheese,

      Hi Haopee,

Yuki said she’d bring a bigger bed next time…YAY! Yuki liked sleeping in my bed so I think she was okay with my smell.

      Thanks for stopping by!
