I actually just purchased "How to Raise the Perfect Dog" a couple weeks ago at our local Borders closing down sale. Lucky for me it was 60% off along with a whole stack of other dog training books I brought home that day. It sounds like a good read and I think I'll move it to the top of my list. I'll see about getting a review up on the site as soon as I finish reading the book. By the way, have you seen the <a href="http://puppyintraining.com/cesar-millans-mastering-leadership-dvd-review-part-i/" rel="nofollow">Cesar Millan Mastering Leadership DVD's</a>? It's a pretty good set and similar to his show the Dog Whisperer. In fact I think he uses some of his show footage as case studies. @Amy, thanks for the recommendation. It covers everything from choosing a puppy to adult dog behavior and is filled with lots of valuable information on how to best relate and communicate with your pets.
