Check out the latest information on the Orange County Pet Expo 2012.

The Orange County Pet Expo 2011 is one of my favorite events of the year and it’s right around the corner!  If you’ve been following my blog for a while then you may have caught some of my glowing reviews of the OC Pet Expo.  This event is held every year in the middle of April at the Orange County Fair Grounds in Costa Mesa, CA.

We don’t have all the details yet, but two of our favorite organizations are usually at the Pet Expo in Orange County.  Guide Dogs of America usually have a booth and in our 2010 OC Pet Expo blog post we had a map of the exact location.  However, I’m not yet sure where the GDA booth will be this year.  I’ll try to get a another post up on the blog when I have that information.  Dublin and I will most likely volunteer to man the booth for at least a few hours on either Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.  We’ll keep you informed on that as well.

Our other favorite non-profit organization is Cuddly Canines.  We volunteered as foster parents several years ago and still keep them close to our heart.  Hopefully some day in the future we can help them again.  They usually has a booth at the Pet Expo and I’d expect to see them again this year.  They rescue puppies and their mothers mostly from the Riverside Animal Shelter

  1. I thought it was a good idea until I found out it was just a venue for people selling puppies. Last year some guy gave me a card to meet him after with an available puppy. And another tent had a litter of “available” pups I could pick one but had to pay off site. They should not let any breeders in there only rescue/adoption. I can not believe people would bring puppies with all that exposure to germs and that the petexpo did not see anything wrong with that. I am not going this year, last year was ENOUGH. It’s just a marketing thing for puppy mills.

    1. This is actually the worlds largest pet expo. It features all types of animals and breeders, rescues ans everything in between.
