Do you guys remember our trip to BlogPaws last June? The BlogPaws Pet Blogger Conference was awesome and we had the chance to not only give a presentation about building a business blog, but also got to meet tons of great pet bloggers, brands, and bring home piles of swag!
One person we got to meet pretty much on our way out the door was Dr. Jason Nicholas who blogs over at the Preventative Vet. Jason ran some great ideas by me about a pet safety book he was planning on publishing in the coming months.
Just the other day Jason contacted me to update me on his Pet Safety book project and his fundraising campaign over at Indiegogo.
Pet Safety Books For Dogs And Cats

Here’s a link to his Indiegogo page. Here’s a little excerpt from the Indigogo page:
…I’m looking to expand my pet safety message beyond the internet and social media realms to the publishing world with two eye-opening, fun to read, and easy-to-digest pet safety tip books that I’ve just finished writing – one for cat owners, and one for dog owners – but I need your help to do so.
The books are already written and WILL BE PUBLISHED regardless of the outcome of this campaign, I’m just hoping to raise (at least) $15,000 to help cover the costs of producing them (you can see the breakdown of where the money will be going further down in the campaign description)….
We are definitely advocates of pet safety and even though we haven’t seen these books we do support Jason’s message and his cause. What do you guys think? Could you use a book on Pet safety?
