      Pretty amazing because there were tons of people plus fireworks going off. I guess the guide dog training is paying off!

    Koa’s doing wonderful – you say in a crowded area with the sound of fireworks? In CCI-world we call those dogs “bomb-proof.” They process events like that with a whatever attitude and can keep focus. I didn’t take Yaxley out to the fireworks yesterday, though. He doesn’t react to thunderstorms, but I’m not sure that he has the confidence to to handle a Fourth of July event.

      Thanks Bert! He was very good on that outing. He’s just a youngster too so I think he’s going to handle crowds and loud noises just fine during his guide dog career.

      Hi Alison!

      Thank you! All the boys had fun during the 4th of July and only Linus got a little anxious, but we put on his thundershirt and he felt better. I hope you had a fun 4th as well!

      Yes, Koa was a champ at Downtown Disney especially for such a young pup. I think it was his first outing in such a busy and noisy area.
